Anyone got any updates on this, is it worth having?

Re: Yellow Book
Hi there, i have a blue book in a company name, i went to imagration got a form in the front of my passport saying my address is confirmed, i have a house in a company name a car/bike in my name with just that. I dont see the purpose of jumping through the hoops for the yellow book, oh also i opened a bank account with just my passport easy

Re: Yellow Book
Reading all, people have to say about yellow books, I’m unable to work out what exactly I need to produce at Hua Hin Amphua office to obtain the said book.
Does anyone have a list of requirements, as I shall be staying in BKK a couple of days on my arrival, before heading to Hua Hin. So if need be i can call in at the UK embassy.
Ken.

Re: Yellow house book for foreigners
I went through the procedures to obtain my Yellow Book in Pranburi last month and with the help of my Thai wife the procedure was reasonably simple. We went to Amphor Pranburi and a very helpful young lady explained what documentation we required for the yellow book. I had my book within 10 days.
My passport translation was done at the translators office near the Kodak photoshop opposite Market Villa in HH. The lady took around 15 minutes to complete and during this time expanded on the procedure explaining that the procedure for Pranburi differs from that of Hua Hin in that HH residents require to have the document translations validated by their embassy in Bangkok whereas Pranburi has no such requirement. Strange huh?
I am here on retirement and producing my yellow book at HH immigration removes my Thai wife from any discussions during the process (probably the main benefit for me).
Good luck to you all out there.

Bugger, yes I had to make a trip to the British Embassy to verify my passport and then get that document translated and then get the translation approved at the ministry of foreign affairs in Laksi, Bangkok, a right carry on. All because that is the requirements at the tessabahn hua hinmagobligin wrote:I went through the procedures to obtain my Yellow Book in Pranburi last month and with the help of my Thai wife the procedure was reasonably simple.
