Guys,
anyone know where I can purchase a half-decent digital multi-meter/Flukemeter?
The ones in Homepro are garbage.
I was thinking of trying the big red toolshop near Chaam but can't recall meters on my previous visit.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks and regards,
GN.

To buy a Fluke you would probably have to go to Bangkok. The big red shop, Thai Wat Sadu, on the way to Cham Am has some, but I cannot recall what brand.
The market Plaza (damned if I can recall the name of it), along the Klong Road has some also, but again I cannot recall the brand name.
I have a "UNI-T" el-cheapo that I keep in my toolbox that has served me well. I keep the Fluke for bench work.

Klong Road? Sorry you've lost me here, I'm not good at the Hua Hin soi/area names yet. Still learning.

Try RS Thailand - I've used RS throughout Asia (including Thailand) and had zero problems with delivery.

The Klong Road is the one that the Immigration office is located on. From the city the Plaza is before Immigration, about D5 on this map: http://www.huahinafterdark.com/hua-hin-area-map.htmGinjaninja wrote:Hi Nereus,

Don`t be put off by the appearance of it from the road, as they actually have some good stuff in there, including quality hand tools.

I have a Fluke 77IV multi meter in Cha Am. Think it’s about two years old very light use with fused leads.
You’re welcome to make me an offer. Only used for checking non-existent earths.

I just wrote you a message thanking you for the offer. I would prefer a new M.M.
I'll bear it mind in future.
