Thanks, I had a look there but they all seem to be monthly rentals, we only need it for 2 weeks

That is really the peak of the peak season, we have nothing left available now. My advice would be if you find something you like book it, you might have to pay for the month to get the booking unless your lucky enough to find someone who has already got bookings before and after. Hope you find somewhere and have a good holiday

Yes agree. Just for anyone's info the rentals we have (ok only 3, but...) all got booked up for this coming Christmas & New Year period by the middle of January, ie: just a fortnight into 2012. Basically as soon as people got home from last Christmas/New Year's holiday they booked up straight away.

Mid-Dec to Mid-Jan particularly is massively in demand. The enquiries for that period were crazy Jan-March of this year, it's no exaggeration that we could have filled 15 odd houses if we had them. And that was just from the forums database, not the various agents in town.

So the point that I'm trying to make is look to book as early as December for the following December if you want a decent choice.
