Do not expect Thai cooks to prepare good western food!!
My first wife was Korean.

After our separation (that led to divorce) she had the kids for Thanksgiving. I always cooked Thanksgiving, as well as most meals.

When the kids came to my place for the weekend I also did a Thanksgiving dinner. I asked the kids how dinner was at their Mothers. They said not too good, she fixed a Korean turkey.

I asked her about it a little later and she said, "Korean turkey? no, I cooked everything traditional American"

I'm glad I learned to cook.......
