Thanks, I actually drove out there today in the rain around 1pm. Wow it takes a long time on a motorbike only going 40..Big Boy wrote:Be careful, they do stop for lunch (12 til 1 I think). If you get there just before lunch, you could have an unnecessary long wait.

I ended up not getting my Thai license in the end. I had all the paperwork correct, they were going to accept my Arizona license as well after I kept explaining the M on the back was for motorcycle endorsement. Then the lady pointed out that my medical certificate was written in English and not Thai. (Like I was supposed to know)!! I told the doctor at the clinic yesterday that I wanted to get my license and he knew exactly what I needed and I paid him the 100 baht fee. Went back to him this evening and he was kind enough to fill it out again in Thai this time.
So fingers crossed for round number 2 tomorrow! I really hope I get the same lady so she remembers me. If I do have anymore issues I will end up driving to the Cha Am location I think. Long drive from Pranburi but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do to get a license...
