Note to bragging Spurs fans. Remember last year`s gap?
Not gonna happen again that. We've got AVB running the show now.

You could well be right, but save the cheers for the end of the season. BTW how was your time in the Gulag?

And again, worst in the league.

Have to agree on that one - maybe on Sky or MOTD, at the end of the season they can add a " best Dive of the Season" competition, to best goal and best save? Although my money would have to be between Suraez and Bale, this one will take a lot of beating. I'd love to see a rugby type sin bin, where for offences like this, the player gets a 15 minute spell on the sideline.

Football could learn a lot from rugby referees and diciplinary measures. Sin bin a definate, concede 10 yards for arguing (in place but not used), true respect for referees, who rarely get decisions wrong.

Any stats for cautions given for diving?

The refs actually do sometimes get it wrong - think Torres v Clattenburg, but with Bale its almost endemic!

Injustice to Bale an optical illusion, Suarez is your man!

I see Bales out for a couple of weeks - was it the dive that did it?

Edit:

AVB provides some sort of answer -

"He is now very near suspension for two unfair yellow cards and I think you gain a reputation for being a diver unfairly sometimes. This player has suffered a lot in his career. It's a little bit harsh on him."

Poor lad gets confused, when the crowd chant Bale Bale Bale, he thinks they mean bail bail bail.

Any stats would be irrelevant, they get so much wrong anyway, no matter what peoples opinions on Suarez "diving", the one time he got booked this season was a trip.

Time for video evidence and I kind of agree with the sin bin.

Torres card wasn't a dive either.

Big lanky quite quick Welshmen vs a hard as nails anything to win, best footwork in the league South American. 8)

Off the pitch neither have been in trouble though, seem good family men.

Not like some of the whore using, cheating, drug test dodging, street urinating, brother and teammate shagging heroes.
