Unbelievable. This boy must have the memory retention of a Goldfish. The comment "Its not fair " reminds me of Kevin of Kevin & Perry, the Harry Enfield wayward teenager.
I hope any future England management leave him out completely and permanently. He has no place in the side and his yet to be proven (at international level) skills are greatly overweighed by his childish and agressive behaviour.
All the other premiership second place contenders must be rubbing their hands with glee.
As for Scholes who has had a brlliant career but now looks like he is becoming senile in his old age. Time for being put out for stud I think. Looks like Manu have a very complicated season ahead of them.

Guess, your comments are spot on about Rooney (and that is not because I am not a supporter of Man Utd). Did you read the other articles re comments from Ferguson etc about the sending off. Always the same crap, he was unlucky, should never have been a sending off, Refs are picking on Rooney.
What does he expect, you stamp on people, throw arms across peoples faces, push opponents and mock & argue with referees, all has been well documented that they are red card offences. Perhaps someone should take him aside and knock these points into his thick scull.
It will be very intersteng to see how he fares this season in the Premier League and Europe, as people are witnessing how easy it is to wind him up and will be at him all the time.
In saying that, it will be a shame if he does not realise his full potential, as he has the ability to be one of the worlds best strikers for the next 10 years. Some of the goals that he scores are top class, but until he calms his temper, I do not think that he will completley achieve that kind of status.
BTW Guess, The Sun is always a good read (mainly for the sports pages of course), and unlike a lot of the other online papers, we still get the full edition. A lot of them now only give you limited news stories and then have to subscribe and pay money to be able to get the full edition.

Look at Rooney's thug face and his behaviour, no doubt in my mind he is the next George Best/Paul Gascoigne. He'll be a violent drunk at age 40.

Rooney is good example of how football has lost it's way. Leaving Everton to play for the wrong Manchester team at the wrong end of his career is a scandal!

For those of you with very short memories, think way back to the recent world cup. There was a has been called Figo who deliberately head butted somebody - action..............zilch.
Poor old Rooney was entrapped, with Portugese legs wrapped around him. The other player's private parts simply got in the way of his attempted escape - action....................sent off and 3 match ban - probably more importantly, the referee's street cred goes up 10 notches. The Portugese player whose private parts interfered with his escape plan is suddenly famous, and Christiano Ronaldo is recognised as the world's greatest cheat.
There is great media capital to be made in attacking Rooney. He'll be sent off more times than most - not because of his good looks, but because of the fame it will bring to the victims.

I tink you have a good point aboout the sending off of Rooney that did more damage to the diving Renaldo than either of the other two. Of course any publicity about Rooney is going to sell newspapers.
What I thought despicable about Rooney being sent off is if that had been me whose foot got entagled is somone elses's balls, instead of rippping my foot out at lightning speed and storming away with a sour look on my face I would have carefully removed my booted foot and check if the other player was OK.

If the elderly Scotsman has any sense he will leave the ugly pikey gingha on the bench, preferably at a nearby park.
After recent accusations, triggered by one of the smarter players at the Bridge, regarding referees bias against successful clubs the FA have ruled that Ricardo Carvalho can take down Rooney and kick him in the bollocks once and only receive a yellow card. So get the right studs on Ricardo. Also a smart idea by the FA to pick a Yorkie to ref.
This will get the revenge sorted and also stop the accusation of referee bias against Chelsea and Arsenal.
Statistically everything is in Chelsea's favor tomorrow. Chelsea are now through in Europe so should be on a high. Manure were outplayed and deservedly beaten by a superior Celtic. The defense is at full strength and there will be eight goal scorers on the pitch aiming at the Manure goal.
This match may decide the premiership winners if Shevy can't adapt to the English game.
So come on you Blues lets have another Old Trafford Party.
