He didn't dive, he was avoiding a fight with a Polar Bear.Terry wrote:Nice dive by ya man Cazorla - but no doubt the Whinge would not have seen it
A head-on collision is like running into a 600kg polar bear... so, do you still think it's wrong for Bale to dive for cover? (He's British ya see)

Apparently, Cazorla just lost his balance

Re: Premier League 2012-2013
Well - Cazorla must have really dodgey pins, because he went over again on the edge of the area in around the 50th - the ref missed that one......................

Re: Premier League 2012-2013
Football oracle, never won anything, struggles to string a sentence together, all round bell end Robbie Savage has been given a platform in the British media to discredit 1 of British footballs greatest ever manager's, Arsene Wenger.
Arsene should leave.
Next week Titus Bramble disects the weaknesses in Barcelona's system.

I sometimes have the misfortune to see Savage when I am channel hopping, how can anyone take him seriously. Why did he say Wenger should leave?
As for Carzola, totally out of order. (notice how we upstanding Arsenal fans don`t say "what about Bale, Suarez and all the other cheats). Wenger says he will be diciplined if he cheated. Of course it could be that he felt faint just getting through a defence onto goal.

I'm not one to stand up for referees, but in real time, the Cazorla incident looked a clear cut pen

I hope AW does fine him.
Going down 'easily' when touched is annoying enough, but going down with no contact at all

On a more serious note;
I think there should be a panel set up to review diving incidents, preferably ex players & guilty parties should be banned.
It's probably the only way it's gonna be resolved
Did anyone see Shotton's second yellow/red card offence at Villa, shocking decision.
That ref has obviously never played, have any of them ?

I suppose his only defence is that at least the offender was within 3 feet of him when he took a diveArcadian wrote: (notice how we upstanding Arsenal fans don`t say "what about Bale" ).

Really pissed off
It's Sunday - so no BPL on my cable TV here in Hanoi and my internet speed is like a Slug dragging a brick - so streaming is out.
Oh well - settle down to a good movie and check the results later.
Can't wait to get back to HH in 11 days time!

Not doing winning stuff and stuff and other lazy cliches. Hilarious how Robbie Savage is even given a platform.Arcadian wrote:I sometimes have the misfortune to see Savage when I am channel hopping, how can anyone take him seriously. Why did he say Wenger should leave?
The media should have a list of requirements when they employ pundits.
A:Won things
B:Knowledgeable
C:Can coherently string a sentence together.
Currently employed with that criteria is Phil Thompson, Gary Neville, Alan Hansen, Gordon Strachan and Lee Dixon. That's it. Five pundits.
Robbie Fowler is decent too but he's only on the odd Europa game.
I've thought that for years. Sick of the tired old "Ref dealt with it" rubbish.redzonerocker wrote:On a more serious note;

Re: Premier League 2012-2013
Everton easily the better side come half time. Adebayor is having a shocker. I think he's given the ball away with every touch he's had.
On the bright side of things we look similar to how we played at Fulham in the first. We all know what happened in the second half there
. Bale was absent for those goals too so let's hope we can have a repeat of that.
