Carabao performing in Hua Hin
Re: Carabao performing in Hua Hin
I didn't go in the end (girlfriend was working, didn't really want to go by myself) but could hear it from my house. One of my girlfriends colleagues did go and said there was no trouble as far as she could tell. I did hear a rather disturbing bang (again from my house) about half hour after the music stopped. No idea what it was.
Re: Carabao performing in Hua Hin
My wife went with a few of her mates from work and she said there was no trouble at all. She actually bought tickets for both of us but it turned out one of us would have to sit out because our eldest daughter had karate class last night (and an assessment), and since she looks forward to her lessons so much, we didn't want to let her down. As was to be expected, I was nominated to do the "parental duty" thing.
My wife did say quite a lot of people were turned away because they arrived at the concert thinking it was for free. She also said there were virtually no youngsters there at all, and apparently this is also why there wasn't any trouble. All in all, she seemed to have had a good night, at least by her standards. Not quite sure about that given that she was already in her bed by midnight.
Hell, I remember the days when a "good" night only kicked off after midnight.

I go there and i think there was no more than 2500 people and a lot of police.
I didnt see any trouble at all but they ran out off beer 30 min. before the end.
The music system sounds good and it was not very loud.
All in all a nice evening with good music, nice people who had a good time, but not enough beer.

Um for a start that is a horrific misquote and secondly please don't bate people like that! Some of us stay out of 'those' threads for a reason, no need to try and drag it in here!Takiap wrote:Pleng wrote: it's only the free concerts in the north where the trouble happens.

I'm not trying to drag anything anywhere. A bit of humor, nothing more, nothing less, so why not lighten up old chap.
