Repairs to small electric motors

Post by Dr Mike »

I thought I would find some help on searching the forum but did not do so.
I have not one but two small electric 'weed cutters" for trimming my grass. Both of them have stopped working, when you switch on there is a hum but no rotation. The vendors were not helpful (big surprise).
Anybody know a place that might help.

Check if the brushes are worn down, replace them and the engines probably runs again. Very cheap as spare parts but still you have to find a supplier.

There is a guy in the block of shop houses in front of Index. The last shop towards the town end of the block. Don`t be put off by the look of the place, and you will probably also need a Thai speaker, although with a fault like that it is pretty obvious want you want.
