I woke this morning and the first thing Mr S asked me was "Are you making any New Year’s Resolutions?" I gave him a bit of a "blank" look and asked him if I needed too Since I make them every year and always end up not sticking to them, I told him no, I wasn't, as it was pointless. As an afterthought I did make one little one, that was to get more exercise in..but only that one. If I made anymore the list will be very long
I’m very happy to say that I have not made any NY resolutions. The list of things that I should address is simply too overwhelming and my willpower is not up to the task.
The good news is that I survived 2012 with a lot of enjoyment and if I do nothing to change then 2013 should be similar
Happy New Year

Just to get through the year doing the best I can for my clients at work. I'm dreading April, when the effects of the UK's Welfare Reform Bill will really start to kick in, and expect a lot more people with problems needing help.
I don't see the point in new years resolutions, I really don't. If I come to a realisation that something needs fixing in my life, I take immediate action. NYRs seem to be a way for people to put off doing something (the amount of time's I've come across people who realise the need to make a change at some point in the year and say "ah well, that can be my new year resolution" is astonishing) and, as a double whammy, only sticking to them for a short time as "Ah well I never stick to my new years resolutions anyway" seems to be a universally accepted excuse!
