Out of interest, what happened to the awesome playmaker Sahin that liverpool took and spurs rejected?

Spurs rejected? Fixed it for you.

Got a broken nose at the min, training in one of those dodgy masks.

He's had his moments but maybe just doesn't fit in England. At his best at Dortmund he was world class.

I read that Modric and Song were voted the worst players introduced into the Spanish League, and this after the stick Spurs and Arsenal took allowing them to go.

A lot of these guys suffer from being over-hyped. Berbatov was another player that stood out at Spurs and, while not exactly fading into obscurity, spent much of his time on the bench or playing for the second string.
I read somewhere recently that Swansea's Michu was being valued at 30 million quid! He's had a good few months, but really...!

Modric is a great little player who slotted really well into the Spurs format, but he's not strong or especially quick, and not a goal scorer or a defensive midfielder.
I reckon we'd take him back for 15 million...
This is the way

So there goes the awesome playmaker!

Borussia Dortmund are expected to announce the return of former player Nuri Sahin on Friday evening, according to reports in Germany. The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Liverpool from Real Madrid, but has failed to make an impact at Anfield.

Weird one, it's happened to better players and bigger names though, Juan Sebastian Veron, Andrei Schevchenko and Fernando Morientes to name but a few.

Seems a nice lad, hope he goes back to ripping Germany up.

The day before Manchester United V Liverpool.

It's embarrassingly predictable. Suarez looks like he has diabolical intent.

Torres keeps telling his team-mates he'd rather be back at Liverpool and the old guard are fuming...

His team-mates have lost count of the number of times he has told them he wishes he was back at Liverpool.

Aaahh, diddums! We've got a new much better idol now.

So, you like this article from a paper you normally denigrate when it publishes what you perceive to be anti-Liverpool "rants"

I wouldn't perceivably denigrate anything whence humbly guffawing at Fernando José Torres Sanz.

Anyone see that brilliant individual performance from the Stoke City striker,Jon Walters, last night ?
Not only did he score TWO OWN GOALS (amazing in itself for a striker) but he also MISSED A PENALTY!
Lucky it wasnt in Serie A or there would be another match fixing scandal ! :rasta:

He supported Chelsea as a kid and just got carried away when in front of goal - easily done!
