I think we enjoyed ourselves too much. Too busy gassing to concentrate on the questions. It's a shame that the team marking our papers didn't undrstand the technicalnature of some of our answers.

Somehow we didn't come last (not sure how we managed that). We were a full 7 points ahead of the last team, and only 3 points behind the football hooligans.

Consider yourselves on a warning - we will take that leash off soon, and you'll all wonder what's happened.

Out of interest, did you have the little man in the red shirt stood outside the bar trying to help you with answers? He seemed to be moving between our 2 teams.

He kept standing behind a pillar, and whispering answers to us - unfortunately, he didn't know anything that we didn't (so he wasn't any good anyway). He was a real pain - it's only a bit of fun. Cheating is a real no, no.

I was the only one facing him. Actually I felt a bit sorry for him as he looked like he wanted to join in. Almost told him to come in and sit down! Anyway, he only gave us one answer (the periodic table - oxygen - wrong) and after that he avoided my eye.

Talking of cheating, I don't wear a watch but use my phone for the time. I picked it up once or twice and I'm sure I got some suspicious looks! Fortunately it doesn't have Internet access...

To me, it's the best bit about the quiz - it costs nothing to enter, and there's no prize apart from the honour of winning. It's just a friendly bit of banter as far as I'm concerned. If somebody wants to cheat, they're only cheating themselves. Some people do take things too far though. I'll make sure JW has his CCTV turned on you next time
