Hello to all and thank you for an excellent forum. After several years of research and many visits my wife and I have decided to make the move to Prachuap Khiri Khan. We love the quiet lay back feel of the place. We are looking for a small business, not a real money making exercise but more for the lifestyle. I am retired but my background is
IT/accommodation/hospitality, I am also a musician, guitar and drums, not at the same time! My wife is Thai, loves cooking, photography, handcrafts and gardening.
If anyone has any ideas etc they would be most welcome.

Hi & welcome
Have a look at the advertorial for Suay Vista on Soi 94. They have jam nights where they welcome musicians to have a go.

Hi Meier and welcome to the forum. If you have read on the forum about working in Thailand you will have seen that it is not easy for an expat, although I'm sure a lot of husbands with Thai wives do set up a business in their wife's name and do work behind the scenes, but you need to be very careful about making it too obvious.Meier wrote:Hello to all and thank you for an excellent forum. As one of the other posters mentioned, if you are into music then you will be welcomed at the Suay Vista to "do your thing".
Good luck!!
