Kendo isn't the only one. :D

Anyway, if they actually get around to enforcing these laws, the roads will be virtually empty because half the country will be in prison. This in itself creates a whole new problem, in that monthly/annual bribe/tea money will be drastically reduced.

And... If we use the same two MIB, adopting the duelling positions, when tasked to shoot out tyres, to train the rest of the police farce we could keep the hospitals busy and firther drastically reduce the tea money collected. Win - Win !!

(Police Farce is not a typo) but firther is :D

I'm one of those who actually enjoy driving (not whilst pissed I'll add). In China, especially Chongqing it is a nightmare - HH even on a weekend is (believe it or not) far quieter, less insane and certainly far less aggressive than Chongqing on any given day. Being able to drive (south of HH especially) on a holiday is wonderful.......

Anyways, back to subject. I realise I'm only in HH for a few weeks in the year, but I will drive virtually every day to town (at height of season - and I assume MIB pocket money). I have been through numerous check-points day and night and not yet been stopped. I believe my neighbour who is in HH full time and has been so for several years has only been stopped once or twice with zero problems also.

No question on stopping if asked.... There was a lad that didn't (on the request of armed Police) on the London Underground a few years ago.........

I have seen far more check points up in Issan, more than Hua Hin and if you take the border road from Chong Chom to Aranyaprathet proper check point charlie's i guess when not occupied by the army the BIB enjoy the use of them, yep it's tea time! :naughty: .

Over the Xmas period, on my way home I had to sit and wait (with others) while an SUV did a 20-point turn 20/30 metres before Petkasem Rd traffic-lights on Chomsin..thats 20/30m from the police box!
This SUV was on red plates, had blackened windows, & the whole of the left side of the car was bashed-up/crumpled from an earlier 'event'. Unbelievable!
(& no, nobody came out of the police box/hut...wonder if the cameras were running?)
