The whole video was totally bazaar. The poor lass who was giving birth was mostly ignored - she must have been in a fair bit of pain, but that's OK, she has one of those sniffy sticks. When the experts turned up, the 'mid-wife' starts clapping her hands and asking the half-in half-out baby questions (did she really expect it to start giggling or dancing? - hardly a glance at the mother. Then the baby's wrapped up like fish and chips in the UK and paraded for all the assembled crowd to photograph. Mum's being cleaned up, but still no-one is talking to her...

The mother was quite calm considering the situation and the audience  I don't recall being that calm at all! I think everyone heard me about 5 miles away...shouting "Kill me now, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese!!!" :? !
Why on earth did the midwife keep clapping? Was it to get the baby's attention I wonder :P
Anyway, lovely little baby...born on a chess table..so there is a good few name suggestions there.

:naughty:
I enjoyed the vid though. Seen babies born in fields in Africa and one here in a sugar cane field in Isaan
