Just watching Arsenals comical defending when conceding their 2nd goal to Henderson early in the 2nd half, 1 against 5 I believe and as the shocking quality of Arsenals defending is a recurring theme, it made me wonder why Wenger hasn't seen fit to seek an alternative? Its not as if the defenders he has will improve?

Hello, is there an echo in here?

Liverpool look like they could score with every attack and they're few and far between now.

Whoops, 1-2 now and er, more poor defending, this time from the 'Pool

Double whoops, a cracker from Walcott, unmarked, in erm, the penalty area?

Be surprised if Arsenal don't go on to win this now, shame about the defence.

2-2 cracking game.

Norwich 1-1 Spurs

The bad news? Yet another game we should have won! If we get 4th place, it'll be a bloody miracle.

The good news - we got Holtby early, and he looked impressive when he came on. Expect him to start instead of Dempsey next time out.

Fantastic goal from Bale, and some good saves from the Norwich keeper.

Ah, Mr Benitez, please explain how we couldn't hold a 2-0 lead against Reading? I'm sick of this guy, steadied the boat and all that when he arrived, but we sure ain't progressing under him. Torres played ahead of Ba again, Terry sub, WTF is he about? Play your best team, you numpty. :guns:

I was about to congratulate Chelsea for not letting in a goal but nah, can't be bothered. Great come back from Reading.

Seriously, though, our defence is shite, I don't know where our players spend their first half but luckily so many other teams have defencive problems as well or they can't score. Manu sailing for another top 1 finish. Will have to wait for the time when Ferguson retires.

I think thats a fair point. The fair art of defending seems to be going through a barren spell. at least in the PL. I wonder why?

More than happy with us this season, it was always going to be kind of a write off season.

You may have noticed last night we're kind of getting there, we knock it about great at times.

Don't think we'll get 4th this year but don't think Arsenal, Spurs or Everton are any better than us, to be honest I just love watching the Suarez show every week, Football is all about entertainment after all.

That ball Suarez hit to Sturridge on about 25 mins, Jesus Christ!!!

Angle doesn't do it justice.

For me, at Chelsea, Benitez is inept. Under him, we get good leads but are unable to close games down time and time again. Conclusion has to be that tactically, he is a numpty who has a far worse record than RDM before he was sacked. I guess, when you have the highs of a Champions League, you should expect the flip side, but the constant changing of manager doesn't help, but nor do those behind the scenes who perhaps aren't fit for purpose?

The list of players we have on loan is staggering. Have a look:

http://www.chelseafc.com/on-loan-players

So why haven't we recalled some of them? But I guess we stick with Rafa till the end of the year, get a new man in, hopefully get rid of the so-called technical director and MD - we shouldn't be 'short' with whats at our disposal - and start again?

For me, my next game is the always problematic fixture at Craven Cottage in early March, which always matches a deja-vu visit south of the river visit to my home town, with trepidation.

The Newcastle v Chelsea match was a cracking game. The advantage swung from end to end before Newcastles late winner. That Sissoko looks some player.
But three times in a week Chelsea have failed to hold onto an advantage (Brentford,Reading,Newcastle) and conceded seven goals in the process.
Are they a better team now than under Di Matteo ? No,I dont think so and are now are staggering 19 points behind Manchester United.
You will all be relieved that United again scored a late winner after playing badly. How Nani gets in the starting line up,I just dont know.....he's shocking.
What we need is a rich club in the Premiership, with loads of money,to sign him and who dont mind paying well over the odds for an average player....any ideas ?
We're all on our uppers,we're all going skint,

Yes, a great game to watch for anyone but a Chelsea supporter. And Sissoko looked almost too good to be true - can he sustain that form, or was it a one-off?

Yep, great isn't it? :D

:lach: :lach:

But joking aside, this is definitely the key to their success - they expect to win, and usually do.
Bastards.
