Yeah Charles, what a lame-ass excuse for running over and killing two people. In these situations, you often hear an excuse (as if it's a perfectly natural thing to happen) like "I sneezed and was looking for a tissue in the glove box" prior to ploughing through a crowd or into a parked truck.

I'm amazed he didn't run off from the scene for som-tam and soda water before casually handing himself in the next day.
