Why oh why do defenders just stand back, let Bale shuffle to the left to find half a yard with the inevitable result, maybe they are just admiring a class player. Made me laugh at his post-match interview, " we score a lot of last minute goals in the last minute".

As I said some time back - the Arse without RvP are distinctly average................ 8)

The sad thing is Spurs without Bale will be the same.

I truly hope we can make it to stay 3rd or 4th and get CL next season.

If we do - we might get to keep the man and we might attract a few more strikers that we desperately need.

'Tis a funy ol' game for sure

I couldn't agree more, Terence, mon ami, but:

I suspect there's a NOT missing in there somewhere!! And wherever we finish, I suspect our chances of keeping the Welsh Wizard next season are worse than zero. The best we can hope for is a good price and better spending than we did with the proceeds from the sale of Modric.

You have to wonder if the likes of Berbatov and Modric (and perhaps Bale next year) ever wonder if they might have been better off staying at Spurs.

Don't worry you hotspurs he will be staying, buoyed by some nice signings in the summer and CL football.

You haven't got a hope in hell of keeping Bale next season. If he stays in the UK, he'll be at United, otherwise, anywhere he wants really, bar Barca (style of play).

Wow,Suarez scores a hat trick and no word from Baa-Baa ! Is he still giving Rafa counselling after his outburst after the Middlesborough game ?
Anyway,I'm sure you neutrals all enjoyed Kagawas cameo hat trick last night followed by a beauty from Rooney.
Spurs v Arsenal tonight......I'm predicting plenty of goals !

I've got the Spurs down as my pick this week. So, quickly everyone pick Arsenal to avoid my jinx! Was disappointed with Southampton yesterday though. Thought that would be a sure 3 points for them....I almost bankered them. Pete

Tonight I'm a Spurs fan.

How can Arsenal possibly hang on to Arsy if they lose this crucial match?

Get that lanky twat Adebayor off before he's goaded by the Arse into getting a second yellow.
Get Defoe on instead and then finish the buggers off.....................

Nice to see the Whinge spitting his dummy - and where better than at the Lane.

Entertaining game so far.....two good goals by Bale and Lennon.....Adebayor certainly not interfering with play for the first goal as he might as well not be playing !
Arsenal started brightly but,oh dear, those two central defenders......L'Arsene Wenger has certainly got his back up against the wall now unless things improve dramatically in the second half !

It's about time you didn't!

We should have had a few more goals but the wins the main thing.
