Here ten, away 13 and now back again

When I first came to Hua Hin in 1990 it was a very different place. Frank had not started up Hua Hin Golf Tours and Soi Rai Noon was not surrounded by bars. Many a pleasant lunchtime was spent with Kiwi Duncan (RIP) and playing golf did not cost an arm and a leg (Springfield monthly membership was $100!!). I returned to the UK in 2000 so my kids could get a UK education. Now they are old enough to look after themselves and Jamnian and I have returned to the house we never sold.
The house has been refurbished and we are settling back here although as I work on ships it will be half the year here and half at sea.
I am not a huge socialiser but have been a member of various forums and try to help where I can and equally use them (and this one) to catch up on what I have missed despite visiting frequentely over the last 12 years. Currently getting settled back in but will try to catch up with some of the old hands if I get a chance.
If anyone remembers me get in contact and I will try to catch up with you. It's great to be back particularly looking at the current weather in Europe.
