The location will be a little off the main road to Pala U - basically drive past the driving range and turn right as if your going to the fishing lodge - drive around 800m until you drive thru a dip in the road (used to be a wee ford) and take your next right - follow the road along thru some corners and its about 1.5km down there...
Assuming that is the same place as Ya's kitchen business, you can find it on Google maps if you just put in 12.586732,99.890807
The location suits me as anyway as it's nearer than before!

Thanks JW. Look forward to hearing when Ya is open again. Great shame that they had to move at such short notice.

Peppers opened in its new location 2 weeks ago.
I went there today and sampled a "Crying Tiger" or "Tiger Cry" as per the menu. Described as "Spicy" and it was - was it ever! Even the side of Morning Glory in an Oyster and Garlic sauce was spicy even though not labelled as such! There is even another dish on the menu identified as "Very Spicy"! Rocket fuel?
The menu offers a good balance of Thai and Western foods. There is also a mysterious section of some 20 dishes ranging from 60 to 150 baht which are described in Thai, but with no English translation! Are these perhaps "Super Super Spicy"?
Only downside to the menu is the total absence of any desserts. Odd!
Easy to find - signs everywhere. Not so easy finding one's way back!
I used to be indecisive - but now I'm not so sure!

Fully agree with you on portion sizes, in fact I doggybaged some home!

However, there is no mention of ice cream on menu - why not? I'm not a clairvoyant! :banghead:

Think there is a big fridge near the bar with different ice creams in it! Doggy bags are common place!

Read the JW post of 23 January which includes:
"The location will be a little off the main road to Pala U - basically drive past the driving range and turn right as if your going to the fishing lodge - drive around 800m until you drive thru a dip in the road (used to be a wee ford) and take your next right - follow the road along thru some corners and its about 1.5km down there - i am sure the guys will make some signs to show us the way!"
The signs are everywhere - very clearly marked.
The turning JW is talking about is at the large yellow roof double buiding on the corner (half sort of supermarket, half grog store). You could also turn one road earlier, as if going to Lotuswell Resort (that turning also clearly signed to Lotuswell - Peppers signs will direct you thereafter).
The difficulty is not in finding Peppers - it's finding your way back!

Of course there are no signs on that corner indicating it's the road to the fishing lodge. But there is a 7-11. Looks new, maybe it wasn't built when the instructions were written.

Yes, my house is down that road and that 7-11 was just a shell when I left in January. Incidentally, the large yellow roofed building on the opposite corner is a major Chang beer distributor which can come in handy if you're throwing a party.

We went there yesterday for Lunch. Found it without too many problems and Ya was cooking up a storm as always. It's great to have Peppers back. Excellent food, great value and we liked the new premises very much.

We found it by accident a couple of weeks ago, as we were visiting a friend who lives near Peppers.

Great food as usual.

Decided to use my Satnav to see if there was a quicker way home. Big mistake. Stick to the tarmac road as described earlier.
