It's called player of the year, not past 2 months.

Suarez for me, Top Scorer, most entertaining, talented and skillful player in the country with the stats to match.

Not even a debate imho and when he doesn't get it, for other reasons, I'll chuckle.
I tend to agree, just hope spurs get into the CL and he fancies a move to Spurs :D

You tell us, pretty sure Suarez won a trophy last year, he was a 17 year old kid the last time Arsenal won anything.

Mata, Baines and Vertonghen have been brilliant (gutted we missed out on Vertonghen, he's outstanding), but there's no way it will be anyone outside Van Persie, Bale or Suarez.

I think Bale will get it, although I think Suarez deserves it comfortably.

If Bale maintains his recent form I'm sure you're correct, nobody can remember 6 months ago :thumb:

There's nothing this weekend, where are they all? I see thismorning that the biggest snowstorm of the year is going to hit the UK. Pete

It's international week, it's the start of the qualifiers for the World Cup in Brazil.

As for the weather, it looked like Siberia this morning but it's died down a bit now, still snow on the ground and windy as hell though.

It's not as though Suarez hasn't been performing whilst Bale has gone through his recent purple patch though, more goals, more assists etc. He's just a joy to watch, he plays like he's playing on the street.

I can understand why he boils non-Liverpool's fans piss but WHEN he doesn't win player of the year it will be for perceived past misdemeanors, not footballing reasons.

I'd have Bale 2nd though, RVP hasn't done much for a few months. 1 goal in 10 off the top of my head?

Interesting city battles in the premier league: the battle of Manchester seems to be more or less over, the battle of London still has three teams fighting for places 3-5 with the last one missing the CL, the battle of Liverpool seems to be going to the blue part of the Scouseland.

Today has done it for me with Benitez. I'd really be happy to see him sacked in the morning. He's an arrogant, incompetent dick. He messes around with the team so much - 7 changes - and we've been settled, getting into a rhythm! Ivanovic back in when he's been crap for ages, only marginally less capable than Cahill, who seems the dicks 1st choice and so on and so on. I want him out and I want him out now. He's a useless fool who hasn't the ability we need.
