I have 2 white HaiPai Noble i9220 Dual Sim Android phones available. These are Galaxy Note copies and, while clearly not as powerful as the genuine article, they are both very capable phones - and they have the advantage of being able to use 2 Sims at once.

There are plenty of videos on youtube of various resellers showing off what the devices can do. Bot me any my girlfriend use these - no problems using Skype, Whatsapp, Facebook, Line etc. You can get a full day's moderately heavy use on a single charge, or a couple of days when it's mostly in standby - plus you get a spare battery as standard!

They were purchased from the factory new about 3 months ago so still have 9 months of warranty left.

How do they compare to an iPhone? My youngster is dreaming way beyond her budget. Also, they look nice but why are you selling so soon after purchasing?

Which model of iPhone? I think the CPU (1Ghz Cortex A9) probably compares well with an older generation iPhone. Screen is much bigger.

I forgot to mention that both handsets come with an 8Gb MicroSD card. The phone accepts anything up to 32Gb.

Reason for sale... these were purchased new by my girlfriend as she was thinking of setting up business selling them. She has decided against doing so now.

Technically that one is slightly superior however I'm not aware of the state of the firmware of that model. The problem you often get with Chinese phones is buggy firmware/features not working.

I don't want to be rude but it seems a little steep for a second hand 'copy' phone. I just bought a barely used S3 for 12,000 two months ago. You have to bear in mind too that if you ever wanted to exchange it (+ cash) for a better phone the shops will give you next to nothing...used or not... as it's not a 'brand' name.

Looks a half decent phone nevertheless (In your own words 'capable' - I want a little more than that for that kind of money). You can see that the reaction time when sliding on the touch screen is significantly lower...or sometimes non existent, but it has many of the gadgets and gizmo's that the 'other' phones have. What's the camera like Pleng? (I didn't watch much of the clip tbh).

They're not second hand.

The camera's pretty decent in high light conditions, not great in low light conditions. It's advertised as 8Mp but it's actually a 5Mp sensor with software up-scaling to 8Mp

I don't know how the dollar compares to the Thai baht but the uk quoted price of £114.27 comes in at around 5,500bt according to my calculations. They've obviously dropped in price since I bout them, so I would accept 5,500 a piece if that's the going rate.

Good luck doing a warranty return 6 months down the line with an ebay purchase from a Chinese reseller! My supplier, for all their faults, have proven to honour warranties - though that of course means putting your trust in me so I guess it's six of one half a dozen of the other.

Don't worry about how it compares to iPhone, iPhone isn't really the one to beat anymore, it's failed to move on for 4 or 5 years and has the most boring UI on any phone.

@BaaBaa I misread your post the first time, and I guess others might so I hope you don't mind me clarifying...

"There are available at Tesco..." is suggesting "these" as an alternative to iPhone. They are NOT the same phones that I am selling - they have a much smaller screen. But yes, they are perfectly capable Android phones and a lot of people don't want the large screens. It's just a wonder why iMobile took *so* long to get on the Ice Cream Sandwich wagon.

I think 5,500bt is a decent offer.

Reasons?

1 - You don't have to wait 7-21 days for delivery.
2 - The SD card has been http://www.avforums.com/forums/digital- ... s-now.html tested to not be fake.
3 - You don't need to flash a custom ROM to properly configure the device - The device you will receive from ebay has the memory bizarrely configured so that only 512Mb is reserved for apps. The other 1.5Gb is configured as an internal SD card. The ROM on these devices has been configured so that the whole 2Gb is available for apps.
