Advance apologies for my ignorance, but what is the Tessabahn? I hope to drive there this afternoon to pay land taxes but realised I can't find the address. I'm also hoping that if I take my blue book, passport for ID and chanote they will let me know the amount and I can pay there and then. In other words, does the Thai land-owner need to come to the Tessabahn with me?

Posted in a rush and am red-faced as meant to type where, not what, is the Tessebahn. (Didn't want to faff around as had a houseful of guests in tow.) Parked where I thought it was and asked a friendly Dibble who confirmed I'd got the right building.
For what it's worth, to anyone still needing to pay their land tax, I showed my blue book and a copy of the house contract, handed over THB15,200 for the two years' tax, got receipts and all was done within ten minutes. The (Thai) land owner didn't need to be present.
