I like to go out and party in Hua Hin. The problem is getting back to Cha'am. Taxi's are pretty pricey and I can rarely find people with whom I can split the costs of the taxi. Don't know many people on whoms couch I can crash.
So I'm looking for a hotel in Hua Hin to stay for one night and which is reasonably affordable.
Cheap, decent hotel in HH

It's a small world after all...
Sulty, even if it cost you 500baht back to Chan Am in a cab, it would still be cheaper than getting an overnight room in HH.
Next time you go back to HH, go and see the guys in the taxi stand nearest to the Hua Hin Suites (Just past the entrance to the Sofitel) and ask them how much a cab would be back to Chan Am,
I use them all the time when I come to HH for taxis around town and then back to Bangkok. They are very nice people and and are very reasonable with price.
If you were to book one in advance and agree a price beforehand, there will be no misundersatndings when it comes to pay.
If all else fails, party on till the morning and get the 1st bus back.

We often head up to Cha-am for a few bevvies and get the taxi driver to come and pick us up at a designated time. The cost for the return trip is usually in the region of 600 baht.
I'm sure you could find a Cha-am based one that would do the same.
