All is not lost yet for Spurs. Although 2 points were dropped yesterday, the salvaged 1 point could be crucial. I've just been playing with the BBC's Predictor http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/footbal ... efault.stm and I reckon that there will only be a point or two between all 3 London clubs after the last game. Someone is going to regret a dropped point. I just hope we don't end up regretting our poor goal difference.

For 40 minutes it was a bloody awful Man U that turned up....passes going astray,being caught in possession,although Walcotts 2nd minute goal looked offside to me and both Van Persie and Jones had excellent chances to score in the opening period despite United being mainly woeful.
It was a definite penalty when Sagna caught Van Persie and,apart from the last 5 minutes or so,United looked pretty comfortable after that.....a draw a fair result,I would say.
I would like to think it will be a United raring to go for next weekends match against Chelsea as there is no love lost between the teams.I think United will win that one but wont be too fussed for the final two games against Swansea and West Brom now they cant beat Chelseas points record.

In these calculations of mine I have Spuds to draw with Citeh and Chelskea and winning the rest and Chelskea drawing with Liverpool, ManU, Everton and Spuds and winning the rest. Had the distraction of playing with my new toy this weekend but did watch Spurs on Sat night
Playing at Wigan is never easy and they were up for it.
We - on the other hand were woeful.

Thank God the Arse' only got a draw with Manure.

Yes, more so for us, I think.
Of course, for all 3 teams a lot rests on the 'easy' games. Not much use beating Chelsea if we lose to Stoke and draw against Southampton or Sunderland. And I reckon if Arsenal fail to beat just one of QPR, Newcastle and Wigan, they could have problems.

It was a definite penalty when Sagna caught Van Persie

Yes, but I'm surprised you didn't mention how very lucky Sagna was to stay on the pitch after the ref played advantage following a foul from behind on the hour.

I think Sagna was booked for the foul on Van Persie,which was slightly harsh although a penalty,but the foul from behind on Evra was a definite booking and,therefore,a red card.
But Phil Dowd bottled the decision.....he's been around for years and always a mediocre referee.
But after the Evra tackle I thought Wenger was going to substitute Sagna straight away.The look on Sagnas face knew he'd got away with it !
But,as a United fan,its pretty relaxing watching the games now so Sagna didnt matter too much.If it had been the second leg of a Champions League semi final,no doubt I would think differently !

If Sunderland win at Villa tonight as I believe they will, I think that last away game for Spurs will be very tricky as they will be on a role and playing to keep impressing the new manager. Stoke appear to have turned a corner as well!

The last fixturee for Arsenal is looking trickier as well!

We're on a double if we beat Everton at the Bridge - oh and the spuds of course.

Don't be so pessimistic my man - we'll make it over the finish line this time. Don't forget we have someone who is tactically adept at the game rather than someone who's most common line to the lads was...

If (and I say 'if') we don't make it this year all is not lost. We have great foundations set for the future with a rather large budget to spend (if we need to spend it... we aint city or chelsea! We're a proud football club. No spanking millions here and there for an owner that prefers netball. FIFA fair play rules is gonna see the both of them in the championship. They simply don't have the overseas money coming in as the likes of United and Liverpool)

All is pretty chirpy either way. Oh... did I mention that we have a highly skilled manager who is the youngest in the league. Astute business - not throwing away money. He'll be with us for another twenty years no less. See you in a few years time.
