IMO, gentleman managers and gentlemen players who command respect are a dying breed but that's money for you. Managers are sandwiched between greedy owners, board members and the fans many who are yobs. They have one armed tied behind their back and have to put up with temperamental overpaid players. Then of course there is the media .

A fairly dumb comment that one. United have ruled the Premier League and the league before with Fergie at the helm for many a year . Of course other supporters are interested in who they get as it may lead to their downfall. It may also mean they become even stronger.
