If you look closely at my comments I think I make it clear that I refer to 'some' . Of course there are asshohes in all walks of society and it would be naive of me not to recognise the Ireland has its fair share.I also make it clear that I enjoyed the company of English people. So lighten up.There's more important things in life to worry about. On the other hand, 'If the cap fits' etc.

Sorry, I've been reading this thread for the last few days & still not got the point of it. Of course, that's probably because I'm English & I don't play golf. Not sure if I qualify for the a##hole misnomer because of this, or not. Better not mention I'm a woman...
IMHO, there are a##holes from every nation on the planet, from every walk of life, from both genders, from all ages. In the aforementioned categories there are also some wonderful, unique people - some of whom play golf - gasp!
We all meet people we don't like (as well as people we do). Get over it & get on with your life & enjoying yourself. Believe it or not, some people have more to worry about than the fact they dislike some people they met playing golf. There are people in this country who'll never have the money to play golf. Ignore those you don't like - there will always be people to dislike, & have a good time with those you do

Thats how I feel, which is why I objected to the the use of "English", which the OP didn't need and made it appear something other than a rant against all such people (by our own perceptions) and into something else.DawnHHDRC wrote:IMHO, there are a##holes from every nation on the planet, from every walk of life, from both genders, from all ages. Me too. It seems that certain very badly behaved English golfers are being compared to Arseholes.DawnHHDRC wrote:Sorry, I've been reading this thread for the last few days & still not got the point of it.
I find this extremly insulting. My arsehole serves many functions. I releases all the bodies unwanted solid produce, or in Jaimie's case liquiid as well which I blame squarely on his excess consumption of cat meat., it is enjoayble to sctatch, and produce hours of histeryical entertainment to my girls by using it as a musical instrument.
I think it should be held in a much greater esteme than a halfwitted English golfer.
I would love to hear other people views on that.

In making that statement, you have declined to tell us all what caused you to make those comments, other than make some rather outlandish across the board statement, that could be made about any race in the world. This being mainly due to the fact that I seem to have been most unfortunate with the company that I (for one reason or another) had been drawn to play with. Specifically, dare I say , English ARSEHOLES.
Please put us all straight on exactly what caused you to come to make this statement.
Could it be the fact that you were taken to the cleaners playing golf by some much better English golfers, are somewhat a bad looser and talking through ones pocket????

Oh let's forget all this Politically Correct pussy-footing around. I'm with you Housedoctor, let's don our white hoods, grab our burning crucifixes and send every non-Irish, sub-human, inferior to the gas chamber. Of course, we'll tell them it's merely a group shower hehehe.
Would that fall into the 'craic' category?
Who said fascism was dead!? Uber Ireland!
