TM 47 enough to notify change of address?

Post by hhfarang »

I've heard that you are supposed to notify immigration of your new address when you move. My moving happened to correspond with my 90 day TM47 filing so I just did that with the new address. Is that sufficient or is there something else I need to file. It didn't occur to me to ask them that when I was there.

Also, besides providing a new hand drawn map to where I live, will I need any different documentation when extending my annual visa this year having moved from a house where I had a yellow book to a rental?

Thanks!
