File Boxes

Post by hhfarang »

Anyone know where I can get file boxes? I'm talking about the kind of boxes that have rails or sides for the standard sized hanging file folders. I don't care if they are cardboard or plastic, but I need a few. I've checked Thai Watsadu, HomePro, and Makro with no luck.

Any suggestions? This is the kind of thing that would be available within 10 minutes drive in any city in the west but is totally frustrating to try to find here!

Thanks,

hhf

There's a large stationery shop up Soi 70. From Petchkasem Road, turn left at the lights, and it's probably less than 100 yards up the road on the left. They have quite a range of stationery. I would think you'll find something suitable in there.

Be prepared to haggle the price though. Last we went in there, when the guy serving saw me (Farang) he tried charging more than was marked on the item.

Looked at Tesco and saw what you were probably talking about. They have some folded boxes that are called document boxes, but looking at the instructions for assembly I think they are just boxes to lay documents flat into. They don't appear to be set up for hanging file folders.

That's the second traffic light, or Chomsin road west of Phetkasim, correct? Will look there and also remembered Pen and Paper stationary store near the Esso station.

It's the road leading up to the 'crazy double roundabout' railway crossing. If that shop draws a blank, carry on up the hill, and turn left (market on your left still). A few yards along that road there's another stationery shop.
