Re: wasching maschine
For the better brands Siemens and Miele you will pay a lot more but generally they last a lot longer. We have a Siemens, which has been running daily for 7 years, with no problems so far and the wash quality is excellent.

Are you looking for a front loader or top loader? We have a Toshiba fuzzy logic top loader that works well although less than a year old - has a huge 13 kg load capacity.bsdk1960 wrote:thanks for that, I now Miele is expencive in my own country to but we will take a look on a Siemens before we make

Re: wasching maschine
I must admit that ours is a cold fill only, although of course most of the time the water is close to 30c in any case. Not sure whether any of the top loaders have hot fill as well? Advantages, cheap to operate, fairly quick when set to the "speedy" programme and they have a large capacity. Disadvantage is that they take up a lot of room and won't fit under a work top, and occasionally our machine gets out of balance on the spin programme, requiring human intervention!!bsdk1960 wrote:looking for a front loader as I would like to wash my clothes in warm water and I think its only on the front loader

Re: wasching maschine
yes your right about the warm water here in los,and we already have a top loader that works perfect, but my thai
girlfriend found out if she ask me when I have a drink or 10 Ill always say yes to nearly all thing she ask for,and thats why my thai girlfriends mam will have our old one.So thought we would try the front loader as I use that kind in my
country.

We've got a LG front loading machine. It does what it says on the tin - it washes clothes. Not much else to say about it apart from the fact we've had no problems.

Re: wasching maschine
I liked the LG I bought in HH so much, that I returned to UAE and bought the same model.
Very quiet and has a short 30 minute programme.
Also takes 7kg load.

I'll throw in a good word for Toshiba. http://www.toshiba.co.th/beta/th/ha/wm.html
10 year motor warranty which I haven't seen on anything else. Perhaps the best washer I've ever had, including those in the west. 6 years now of daily operation without a fault. Pete

In the states I have an LG washer and dryer and they are outstanding machines... My Thai wife wants to bring them here when we relocate next year.. Issue is the power ratings... So I promised her we would get new LG's when we move here.. The house came with a much smaller Siemens unit. Works ok but no where near the caliber of our LG's in the USA...
