Lucky - Good Food

Post by thehamok »

I found Lucky a good place to eat.
You can also spend at least 20 minutes free on the internet while waiting for your food.

Nice people to talk to and the cook will come and talk to you if you want something special.

Lucky

Didn't have internet when I was there but whenever I stayed in the town I always went there for my (healthy) breakfast. A big bowl of fruit, muesli and yoghurt and a pot of tea and I could never finish all the fruit. and only about 70 baht the lot and a couple of copies of bangkok Post to read while you empty the teapot.

And yes the staff are fantastic and related to the Romantic Bar owners/staff.

JW, it's in the small soi where they have the entrance to the Thipurai City hotel. As you're heading up the soi it's the last restaurant on the left hand side. Rooms are accessed via the back of the restaurant.

Used to do a great breakfast but I think they've changed the cook or the supplier. Sausages ain't what they used to be.

Lucky is run by a very popular american guy and his gf. They try to please as well as have resonable at fair prices. They have been there 3 or 4 years and also have a wealth of info about southeast asia. There are guest rooms as well but do not always rent them. They were super cheap 250 to 350 baht.
