Most people follow the instruction of the first sign "Do not drive right" but as usual the English could be improved to "Do not drive correctly" or "Do not drive in the proper manner"

One wonders what exactly is the 'right' way to drive. I understand 'hahm rot yon liyao kwah' to mean right turn prohibited which contradicts the sign however I am sure there will be a few bob to be made by the many bobbies.

At last!!! The BIB were collecting a toll off cars driving the wrong way up this Soi today. Well done, but about 6 months too late.

I disagree. So long as they make it a regular toll collection point, word will soon get around.

If its a one-off, then yes, the ignorant gits will continue going the wrong way up a single track road, causing mayhem even though there is a perfectly good, newly laid road going in the right direction less than 50 yards away.

Isn't the one on the west side of the tracks now re-surfaced and two-way? Why not take that one instead and avoid the one-way one entirely?
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Exactly, thats what I was saying:

@BB I think hhfarang was suggesting that you take the west side carriage way, rather than relying on the locals to start respecting the "No car right away" signs on the semi-one way section :)

(could be wrong)

Not feasible when you regularly use the Market Village rear entrance exit, or buy chicken for your dogs from the vendor who sells along that road.
