Is a visit from Kirkyboy to Hua Hin imminent?
Need some help to confirm a rumour that a visit from Kirkyboy and a couple of cohorts may be imminent to the Hua Hin city limits. Has anybody else heard anything on the grapevine? As Boris would say, 'please keep your ears to the grindstone!'
Re: Kirkyboy?
Aussie Mark! Have you heard anything?

Re: Kirkyboy?
Kirkyboy is an absolute legend blue05, thats who Kirkyboy is!
Hua Hin shines even brighter when he is up and about! I can only hope the rumours are true, but if they are not confirmed, I will continue to keep a sharp eye out for him. As Boris would say ' Keep your ears peeled'

I'm much more interested to know who 'Boris' is. Will he be arriving with 'Kirkyboy'?

I'd seriously doubt that! Not if frau Gertie has anything to say about it.
As Boris would say 'Don't put the cart before the gifthorse in the mouth'! As you have probably already realised, BORIS is a master at getting his proverbs a little askew!

Is he a Scottish churchgoing ladyboy?

Idioms, perhaps; proverbs, unlikely.JeffS wrote:I'd seriously doubt that! Not if frau Gertie has anything to say about it.As Boris would say 'Don't put the cart before the gifthorse in the mouth'! As you have probably already realised, BORIS is a master at getting his proverbs a little askew!

I'm not so sure, proverbs or idioms? As Boris would say ' Never count your chickens until you've got all your eggs in one basket!' Rumour mill is strong on an impending visit from Kirkyboy. I hear August!

I'm sure you're right, proverbs or idioms, does it really matter? No doubt a bit like whether Kirkyboy is visiting in August or not, does it really matter?JeffS wrote:I'm not so sure, proverbs or idioms?
