A dentist wanted

Post by huahinmatkat »

I need a root canal done quite urgently. I was first considering Bangkok Hospital, but they must be most expensive choice.

There are number of small clinics around – just do not know which one is good.
Anyone have any comments on dental work? Thanks

Hi,

I've just had my first dental treatment in Thailand at Bangkok Hospital.

Was most satisfied: [Simple filling 3,000 Baht], crown 12,000 Baht.

Most probably not the cheapest option, but I'll definitely have my dentures
made there when the time comes.

All the best!

I had a root canal done by the clinic at Soi 6 and Petchakesam: A highly competent dentist and a very clean clinic. No pain at all. I can only give her my very best recommendation. And unlike some, it's not a tourist trap.

Generally in Thai dental care is excellent. Many of the dentists are women from high-end families . It is a very respectable profession for women to enter. I have found them to be very professional, courteous and good value for money--I wish they would pass on these attitudes to the medical community.

I need to make a dental visit as well. To help myself and others, I just spent thirty minutes reading the (probably 10) different threads on dentists in Hua Hin to get a consensus since there are nearly as many dentists here as there are opticians and tailors.

I found three that are consistently recommended by many people so it may come down to location. One is near the south end of town on Phetkasem road at the corner of Soi 104, one nearer the center across Phetkasem from Market Village at the U turn location, and finally at the north end of town at Phetkasem and Soi 6. A few others came highly recommended, but these three had many positive comments with no negatives.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Just had 7 so called white fillings, a clean and inspect done @ Perfect Smile 113/9 Petchakasem road just up and opposite Market Village. Great, no pain, very professional and cheaper than BKK !

One is near the south end of town on Phetkasem road at the corner of Soi 104.....Hua Hin Dental Clinic. Both service/English/prices are excellent. Both my wife and I have had root canal work done there.

Girlfriend Needs Some Dental Work

Post by TomTom55 »

I have mulled through some of the dental threads but I wanted to ask what dentist are good to visit? She has a toothache so I assume a filling is in order. What are the price ranges people have encountered?

Thanks
Tom

Where on Soi 6 is this place? Or is it on Petchakasem Rd BEFORE Soi 6? :?
There is a small clinic just at the start of Soi 6, but it is not a dentist. :?

It is a strange thing. Generally Dental care in Thai is excellent, affordable, ethical and honest. It would be wonderful if the same could be said of medical care.
