Notarial Services

Post by lomuamart »

I thought we'd had a thread on this before but I can't seem to find it.
Anyway, does anyone have up-to-date information about somewhere in HH that can provide certified translations from Thai to English and approximate costs?
There are only two documents to translate - our marriage certificate and a birth certificate.
Thanks

I've used P&A before, third floor of the old 'chopping mall'. They charged 500 baht per doc, this was a few years ago though, not sure if they're still there.

I'd forgotten about them. I'll see whether they're still there.
Thanks.

P&A are now based on the top floor of the language centre.

Past the main traffic lights heading south about 100 metres or so on the left.

Sirada - The Learning Centre does certified translation... Baht 350 per document..Baht 150 for certified stamp.

Lomu, your subject line says "Notarial Services"... Can you tell ,e what department you require the translations for... and most Thai Government department do not require Notarised, just that the translator certifies. IF for say the British Embassy, they may require document to be notarised. There is a lawyer across road from our office that is a Notary.... price the most reasonable in HH.

They're for a UK visa application, so from Thai to English.
The copies should be certified as genuine translations.

Have now discussed with a customer who had similar documents translated and certified by us. The British Embassy did not required the translations to be Notarized and accepted the translator's certification.

Could you please give me some specifics of the name of the lawyer and across from what office?
Thank you for your help.
