I posted what I think is an interesting article about a new approach to Cancer therapy, but as it is not about a Health research in Thai it was placed in the current affairs section.
I am very sceptical about some Chemo therapy and i think that this is encouraging news. its under CANCER-- a new approach

Re: Ask Dr Michael
A new drug combination has found to be more effective that the currently recommended regime for the treatment of Gonorrhea.. This is not CDC approved at the present time.
Oral Azithromycin and I.M cefixime has been the gold standard against GC but resistant strains have started to emerge,
Oral Azithro along with either I.M. Gentamycin or oral Gemifloxacin have found to more effective.
Of course these are very powerful antibiotics and nausea and Diarrhea are very common with both regimes.

I had not heard of this but looked it up and it is as you say. The British authorities have found an increasing number of resistant cases. This always happens, the bugs are very smart. The oral Azithromycin is very tough on the stomach, you are supposed to take 1g (4 pills) as a one time dose but, its not much help if you are vomiting them up , so another way is one pill every 2to 3 hours with some food with them. The fact tha tthere is an effective regime with NO SHOTS involved is very good news, its not just the pain of a shot , but you have to go to a hospital to get them and many cases are neglected because of this.
I did not encounter much GC in HH, but it is rife in other places.

I have heard from a local lecher that Trichomoniasis (fishy smell) is common... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TrichomoniasisDr Mike wrote:I did not encounter much GC in HH, but it is rife in other places.

True, that is a nuisance problem rather than a life destroying one--responds well to Flagyl

I'm 99% certain I have Parkinson's disease. I match most if not all of the symptoms listed on the internet. My father also had Parkinson's and although the jury seems to be on whether the disease is hereditary it seems more likely than not in my case.
I am 73 years old, born in the UK, but after having spent most of adult life in Australia am now happily esconced in Hua Hin for the long term.
My question is do you know of a neurological specialist in Hua Hin that you would recommend?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
