Prices for the Mini Countryman are set to become more affordable in Thailand when locally assembled versions hit showrooms next month..........
The Countryman can soon be had for less than 2 million baht.

Each to their, but personally I still think that is way too much money. It really doesn't look all that different to some of the small Suzuki models, and my guess is there isn't all that much difference in terms or reliability, dependability and etc.
I still can't understand why Nissan hasn't offered the Nissan Duke here in Thailand.
The old mini was an icon, while the new one is simply a status symbol. The same applies to the VW Beetle as far as I'm concerned.

Not cheap - £42,000
Pricing is yet be finalised, but it is hoped the cheapest model will kick out at just under 2 million baht.
