Are there any good agents here that deal with properties near the beach for a period of 6 months in Hua Hin?

It is against board policies to allow real estate promotion so I suggest you try Google for your search.

Google is a wide spread and you never know their reputation any hints would be much appreciated so we do not get stung.

As said above, we don't allow real estate companies to promote themselves here so you won't get far ...

You may get a bunch of PMs ... but how can you be sure they're trustworthy?
