Following suggestions above, I went to Bon Appetit tonight and I agree - wonderful pizza and good prices.

Ate there a couple of weeks ago, agree it was good. I had the Greek salad which was OK but the cheap Spanish olives put me off it. The pizza was good I will go back.

It's called Pizza Pizza by Yani.

The Pizza's are indeed good, but so they should be at the prices they charge there! I'd personally say both the restaurant in soi 80 and Aglio Olio are better, and at around half the price too.

Was also put off by a big "Buy One Get One Free" promotion at Pizza Pizza recently, which had a massive picture of a pizza in the advertisement. Figured that made the prices a little more reasonable. It was only when you got right in close to the sign that you saw the small print on showing what the BOGOF offer actually covered; "Henekin, Singha, or Chang beer"!

Tried Yani Pizza Pizza or whatever and it aint as good as Luciano/Bon Appetit or Roma in my book, sounds daft but it felt like it had no soul.. and was sauce was bland! Each to their own with all food :)

Sorry to butt in, but I'm never sure. When someone says "the top of soi xxx", do they mean the Petchkasem Road (east) end, or the inland (west) end?

Has anyone seen recently a Pizzaria/Restaurant in Hua Hin with a wood-fired oven?
In my opinion it is the only way to cook a pizza.

Generally the land rises up as you move away from the sea-- so 'top of 'means the western part of the soi

Barbara, there is an Italian restaurant called Pizza Garden (I think) on Soi 94 at a corner about a kilometer west of the railroad tracks that has recently installed a wood fired pizza oven (you can easily see the oven from the street). I haven't tried the pizza yet but the other Italian food there is very good.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Had a lovely Calzone pizza there last week. Friendly and attentive staff.
