We beat a side 18th in the World rankings, at home, in a friendly.
Go Hodge!
You're right though, we probably (definitely) won't.
Wilshere was great though, great player. Neymar won't reach the Messi/Ronaldo heights he's hyped up to be although obviously talented.
Apart from Cahill replicating his Chelsea form it was a great performance by England and we should have won more comfortably. Even Gerrard had a decent game.

You must've missed Gerrard spanking in goals recently, he's been awesome for 2 or 3 months.
Most assists in the League too.
"Even Gerrard" the lad is one of the best players to ever grace the game.

The difference is that Hodgson now has some class players to work with, unlike the middle of the table no-hpers he had at Liverpool.
COYF, probably one of the best results we've ever had, 1-1 away against the top team in the world. Then again, now I understand how the other teams feel playing against Arsenal.
Not a great performance but a victory anyway. 1-0 against Belarussia and from the last spot to the third in the standings. This time, I'll have to give you something Spuds fans, your ex-player Teemu Tainio was by far better than our ex-player Alex Hleb.
I have been looking at the time difference of when the World Cup 2014 games are on for when in Thailand.
Well i hope you all like an early start, becuase when the games are on, its start from around 7.00am onwards as the games are played.
A few years ago back in the UK whan we had a simliar time when a compitation was on, the pubs opened in the morning with a charge for entry and a breakfast included, also it was to pay for the bar maids wages.
What will be the state of play over in Thailand as a whole, can the bars open early to show the games?
The World Cup 2014 kicks off on Thursday 12th June 2014 and ends on the Sunday 13th July 2014.
It kicks off in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and all the info is from the official web site (google World Cup 2014, see FIFA website)

20-30 years ago I would possibly sitting in Binta and look the game drunk, but next year it probably
be from the bed in my house.
I don't now how the bar owner will do but if theres any demands for it i'm sure some will catch the monye ,TIT .
Even though, Finland have no chances progressing to the finals, I'm eagerly waiting for tonight's match vs Spain. I'm going to watch it at the Olympic Stadium of Helsinki and really look forward to see the world and European champions live. Even the weather looks promising, the autumn rains haven't started yet.
Well, it was painful watching England tonight. But we got a result of sorts. Our resources are painfully thin and we need a few back from injury. At least its in our own hands now.
Very painful to watch - I couldn't see a goal coming for England at any stage. Maybe it was due to poor service, but Lambert seemed to be nothing more than a passenger. About the only thing he achieved all match was to pass the ball to Ukraine.
