A bar that continues to have friendly girls even after you have sat down to have a drink at the bar.
Soi bindabaht is bad for this one.
Girls wave you into the place, you order your drink, and then they are off to the road waving in more guys like you are not even there.
I hate that !!!
Prettier girls !!
Get rid of the old hags at some of these places !!!
If Soi Bintabart isn't for you, stay away.
Easy isn't it?
BTW, the girls/ladies/hags are only doing their jobs. If they don't want to stay with you once in the bar, don't take it personally :thumb:

People who fraudulently increase your tab are not good people and are not normal people like you or I by any definition.

Tham, I doubt you need to worry too much about the 'fraudulent old hags' in Hua Hin too much, as only yesterday you said:
I personally never heard of a girl ripping someone off in Hua hin.
I have been going there for the last 3 years for several months at a time.

Well I haven't actually said a word yet but I will now. From what I see this started with Tham callling to rid frpm some bars of "hags".

He then later, down the dialogue prints out a Websters Dictionary definition of the meaning of the word. Now we alll know wht hag means and there would be little disagreement in the pub converstaion about what sort of women you are talking about. At its worst the meaning can be quite insulting.

What I want to know is why the hell do you judge a woman or man come to that by his physical appearance. It never crosses my mind when I first meet someone although of course, being a man, a pretty girl will always turn my head.

What sickens me is the morons with their brains in their balls who home staight into the prettiest looking girl to try to talk to her when there are many others around. Does he expect that he willl have a better and more stimulating converstaion with a pretty young girl. or is there something further back in his mind he he may be aware of.

People who view women purely as sex objects make me sick. To me it just shows a pathetic neanderthal instinct that most of us rose above about 20,000 years ago.

As for getting rid of the old hag. Then what does she do to make a living. Have you considered that. Have you considered that maybe she cooks cleans and actually works in the estabishment aswell as sitting around at night times waiting to talk to customers.

What you are sugesting was outlawed in Western societies about 40 years ago. That is employing people in any job based upon their appearance.

And Dawn please let me say something before picking on me.

Guess,

I promise faithfully to always let you say something before I start picking on you.

I'm not batting for Neanderthals here but, did you know that they had brains that were 10% bigger than ours, but no speech, I think they might have been nice 'people.'

Perhaps I should have said, instead of "hole in one" and in total support of Guess is

"Own goal!"

Yes I am aware. I study anthropology. It is just one of those silly sayings that English doesn't seem to have come up with a substitute for.

Basically the meaning is further down the evolutionary scale which of course Neanderthals were not either. They were another species of homonid that in most part were murdered by the more agrresive ancestors of our good selves. (Well some of us anyway)

Only joking of course. I did not see anything in your reply that appeared too harsh to me.

But an ulteria motive on my mind. That is to bury this thread. Before long we will have Jockey on board thinking we are discussing a well known Scottish delicacy made from sheeps guts.

Anyway to remain on topic what I would like to see in a pub is a meeting place for the Anti PWEETA League where we could be safe from the thugs in the leather clothing and mink scarves. BTW we need a few more members at the moment.

Did you know that the original design for cats eyes in the centre of roads was for an actual cat to be buried up to its neck in the tarmac every 6 yards?

An even more brilliant invention was the Acme patented buried-cat sustenance and replacement system but I fear I will be 'straying' too far off topic if I elaborate further on that.

Anyway, some namby pamby do-gooder thought that burying live cats in tarmac in order to reduce road traffic accidents was cruel so they had to use glass cats eyes instead. Not nearly as effective because the original version would also make a high pitched noise if cars got too close.

Yet another example of political correctness gone mad, with health and safety for human beings being compromised by misguided sentimentality for the furry subjects of our God given stewardship.

Hags!!!

Never judge a book by it's cover.

i know many 'mature' bar ladies and for that matter Katoeys as well. Most of them have interesting histories, personality and are able to converse with you in English and you can have a few beers and a good laugh with them. On the other hand you can pick up a 'spring chicken' who looks great and boosts that Male ego no end, but a lot cannot speak English and a lot do not really know the technics yet on how to make a customer happy

Oh course I generalising but my motto is 'if you don't like it, don't be rude and just move on'

Rest my case

Jaime,

I once met the guy who invented cats eyes. Nutty as a fruit cake. He had a room in his house with 4 TVs, one in each corner and a swivel chair in the middle of the room.

Another crazy Tyke. Thank God and Bhudda that we still have them. Me being one of course!!!!!!

Guess,

Totally off thread - how does this happen to every thread? Think I'm going to have to throw my hat into the ring in support of you & the other anti-PWEETAs. I mean, I can hardly be in the other camp, can I? So, at the risk of offending Jaime, Dr Dave et al, I'm applying for anti PWEETA membership, always depending on the subscription fees, of course!! :thumb:
