One thing I can't usually abide is a 'tribute' act. The Richie Newton Elvis show is being used as a draw, but for me its more of a discouragement.
Although the show has been going for a while, I haven't seen any feedback on here.
Comments, anyone?
(Mods, I deliberately haven't put this on the Terrace 90 advertorial in case there are any negative comments.)

The HH "Elvis" Show
This is the way
Re: The HH "Elvis" Show
I saw him the first time he appeared at T90 and the audience was small and subdued IMO although he tried his hardest to interact with the audience and 'get them going'.
We then hired him for my wifes birthday party in Stone Bar at the end of July and it was an excellent night, I think the venue and atmosphere suited his act better and there was a reasonable sized crowd with a few drinks inside them and lots of dancing. He's not the best singer but he is a showman and entertains very well.

I grew up in Memphis. I know the lyrics to most of his songs. With a little makeup and the costume I could do a decent late in his career "fat Elvis"...
thankaverimuch!

thankaverimuch!
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
Re: The HH "Elvis" Show
I've seen him perform twice and he was good but as Pagey said the venue has to be right.
I prefer the Elvis of old (pre Army days) but that is just a personal preference.
One criticism I have is the tempo is too fast. That's probably due to the backing taped music though.
There used to be (many blue moons ago) a Thai performer who travelled the bars round Binta and his rendition of 'the king' were spot on
