Nothing dull about this season!

Man U looking down and out already - lucky if they finish in the top 6 at this rate.

Spurs look truly awesome at times. Now we need to convert more chances into goals and show we can do it against the top teams. Definitely in with a shout for the title this year, and a sure bet for a top 4 place - once again...

Arsenal doing great, but looking vulnerable at times. Chelsea - skin of their teeth at the moment!

Liverpool will do well to stay where they are, even with Suarez coming back.

A good weekend to be a City fan.

My son persuaded me that the Manchester derby was the way to go last night. United were so abysmal that I went to bed at 4 - 0.

My gut feeling had been to watch the Spurs match after last week's excellent performance. Although it was won with a last minute goal, did they still look as good last night?

Better than against Norwich at times. The Cardiff keeper played out of his skin.

I need to be more assertive - it should have been declared a 'No Contest' for neutrals last night night and neutral supporters given their money back.

Absolutely awful......in many ways it was worse than the 6-1 defeat as that was a bit freakish with 3 late goals against 10 men.
Ferdinand,Vidic and Evra played like men in their mid 40's.....Smalling is never a right back.
Not surprising the midfield was overrun.....Fellaini doesnt seem to have added much and why on earth start with Young ? He's not had a decent game since before Euro 2012.Its saying something when I would have preferred Nani in the starting line up to him.
Also I just dont understand why Moyes isnt playing Kagawa. He would have been ideal playing just behind Rooney last night.
Kagawas situation is similar to that of Mata at Chelsea.....class players whose face doesnt seem to fit for some reason.
I think we are seeing how Fergie got 110% out of what was just a top 6 side for much of his tenure.

Anyway,I'm off now to climb on the roof of a 30 storey condo.......bye ! :guns:

There's been mixed reaction to this, from Nial Quinn saying he thought it was a bit too soon and Michael Owen suggesting training ground bust up being the final nail in the coffin. I quite liked him, but have to admit that his style was somewhat unique!! I reckon other clubs will be quite cautious to hire him again, so maybe he will have to move back to Italy or somewhere other than the Premier League?

The match of the week coming up is Chelsea at the Spurs. I'm going to have to go with Chelsea on this one. Arsenal better be careful at Swansea as well, and if Liverpool don't win at fractured Sunderland then we know their fast start was just an anomaly. Pete

Really? Sounds like you haven't been watching them play!!

I may be biased, but I'll be very surprised if Spurs lose.

So far, we've been playing packed defences (even Arsenal played like the away team). If Chelsea play a more open game, I reckon we might score a few.

You and Terry were supposed to be at work and not reading this right away! :lach:

It's nice to see that we have the best defensive record in the league right now -just the one goal going in against us. We also have the best stats for chances made (shots on goal). All this considering we are still just kinda mix a matching with the new recruits. Once they start to gel - who knows!

If our strikers can start putting some more away (Soldado still hasn't scored in open play yet but good 'ol defoe put away a couple against Villa this week) we should be looking like title contenders. We have got ourselves a couple of absolute bargains in Vertonghen (a while back I know) and Erikson, and Paulinhio looks the real deal along with Lamela (all courtesy of the sales of Bale and Modric I believe).

-"The Future's Bright. The Future's White"

Huge game against Chelsea coming up. Will give us a better idea of where we're at comapared with the big boys.

Just looked at that dickhead Lawrenson's weekend predictions on the Beeb's footy website. He's got so many draws in his results it's ridiculous.
Get off the fence you twatt - you are paid by the English tax payer to make predictions - not over cautious whimpy efforts.

As you can guess - I don't rate the idiot................. :tosser: :tosser: :tosser:

Anyways - I'm up for a Sapurrs win this weekend............. 2-1 against the Chelsk

COYS

B.T.W. - this time last year I was expressing my reservations about AVB. Well, I can honestly say that I have warmed to his management style - still wish he would get rid of the raincoat - guess he must be sponsoring the brand. Chelski's loss our gain.
It will be good to see how he deals with 'The Special One'

Not that it's a big issue, but he's only going for 3 draws out of 10 games so I don't consider that "sitting on the fence" - let's see if he gets your boys correct - a draw with Chelski wouldn't surprise me!!
