any bar that has setanta sports which is probably most will have it on,you can also do what i do and suscribe to setanta sports asia online, for about 500bht i get every rugby and rugby league game live and can also watch them on catch up when ever i choose. So normally the games are live at 430pm which is too early for me,so i watch it on catchup at around 830pm instead.

Can't help with regards to watching at the bars etc., but if you're out of options and have the Internet, go for http://cricfree.tv/live/index.php and take a look through - all free, worth a try.

Thanks very much for that information. Missing any big matches at this time of year would be a bummer.

I don't know if this applies to *all* of the channels but certainly for the F1 channel they recently blocked Thai IP addresses. It was suggested that I used a VPN to access it, which pretty much defeated the purpose of using this particular 'service'.

Another similar site is http://www.vipbox.tv

I downloaded and got a few 'nastys' I did not want although I thought I had cancelled them during the download process - did you find this also, because otherwise it looks a good alternative?

Sorry should have stressed the point - don't download the free "software". Just use the links provided to view in your browser.

Bingalboy did you find a venue?

Thanks Bristolian. I was in there yesterday, the staff member that I asked didn't know, but they certainly advertise NRL. I have to pick up some Laundry nearby later, I will check again.

Definitely on in Xotic Bar in Soi 80, right at the bottom near the railway line. They have the CTH satellite. Aussie mate I know went last week and is going again today to watch it.

I know this is a bit dated, but NRL starting back up again.

Most NRL is possible at this bar, even the non-televised stuff. And lots of other stuff you won't find anywhere else.
The only bar in Hua Hin with an exclusive to a private internet feed :)

See you there :)
