Just settling back for Spurs v Chelsea.

I have a feeling this could be a goalfest.

I'll stick my neck out and go for Spurs 4 - 2 Chelsea

How many beers you had?

I hope your prediction is a good one because as a neutral, I just enjoy watching a good game. Having said that I have three sons, the youngest supports Spurs, the eldest Chelsea and the one in the middle Arsenal, so plenty of rivalry!!

COYS. Can't wait to see how the boys perform today. Mata cut the defence to ribbons last year, here's hoping we cut their defence to pieces today. COYS

Well I guess 1-1 was a fair result

Torres's Red was well deserved - not for the offence that sent him off - but the face off with Vertonghen some ten minutes or so earlier when he stupidly poked Vertonghen in the mouth.
I wonder what the FA will do about it - if anything.

Fortunately (football wise only) they are all 6500 miles away so it's not too bad and with honours shared in the early kick off two of them will be reasonably happy, but I suspect Arsenal might make the other one happier still?

WTF????

I wasn't very happy with the Spurs performance, but then I watched the 2nd half of the Man U game. I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for Moyes...

And now I see Villa have beaten Citeh!

Hell's teeth. Come on Swansea!!

Can a sports day get any better? Both Manchester teams losing, Spuds and Chelsky playing a draw, then my home town ice-hockey team SaiPa beating the "pride of Helsinki" and going second in the league. And the icing on the cake: Arsenal beating Swansea 2-1 and going on top of the PL. You might say, it could be better but for me it´s as good as it gets.

My initial thought after seeing results is "....was Ferguson really that magical and talented all those years....? The answer could very well be yes indeed. Whatever Moyes is doing doesn't seem to be agreeing with his players. Pete

I've just seen the Chelsea game on MOTD. I was travelling earlier and didn't get back till late afternoon and managed to avoid the result.

So funny reading all the Spuds nuts on here. There are two teams on a pitch you know and its just not up to the Spuds what the outcome is.

From what I saw and read it was a game of two halves. So the draw, as I predicted, seemed a fair result.

As for the sending off, well clearly it shouldn't have been and based on that I'm sure Chelsea will appeal. The other incident was pretty unpleasant but that's about all. The ref dealt with it at the time.

Torres was pretty fired up and played well, long may it continue and hopefully so will Mata.

I watched the Arsenal game and they continue to impress.

The Spurs v Chelsea game changed when Mourinho brought on Mata at half time.....Chelsea looked a different team then....cant understand why Mourinho doesnt like him as he's probably Chelseas most influential player.
Spurs bossed the first half and were worth more than a 1-0 lead but, overall,a draw was a fair result.

United.....give me strength.....a Europa League place looks a forlorn hope,at the moment !
