Just back !! FANTASTIC.
Just got back this morning and I'm off to town to get some brochures for next year! O.K. the travelling there and back is tedious but, once there we had a great time. Thanks HH.

Bad ? can't really think of anything except the Anatara that we were staying at was a little more than a "few mins away" as described in our brochure but the taxis and tuks were so cheap it was only a time thing.
Again we can't wait to rebook

Glad you & your family enjoyed yourselves homersdouble, despite the rain we've had recently! Having lived in N. Wales, I can understand why you've already got the brochures for next year!

I travelled to Prestatyn once - it rained. Never bothered to return to the Democratic republic of north Wales since. From what you've said, it hasn't changed - still raining?Having lived in N. Wales, I can understand why you've already got the brochures for next year!

Any type and style of food u want. Vietnameese,Indian, Asian,Tex-Mex, Italian, French, European ooo, and Thai. Didn't try them all but all the meals we had out were all inexpensive and excellent quality. My kids nowand again left food only because they stuffed themselves on sweets earlier and the waiter/ess offered to take thier meal cost off the bill!!

You said it was expensive yet now you say it was inexpensive which is it ??homersdouble wrote:Yup, still raining. Just when I've got the "smalls" to dry !! Prestatyn is only about 5mls away. know it well. It's got the only Thai restaurant around here. Bl**dy expensive it is too. Would almost be as cheap to go to HH for a noodle!
What time of year do you go then? We found this time of year is good for us,because there are so many Thais after your baht and there are fewer "ferrangs" (?) tourists about that prices and services are better?
I was asking about the Thai restaurant in Prestatyn 2/3rds of the way up High Street on the left hand side.

Sorry, I thought u were on about the restaurants in HH! thought it was strange someone who goes there twice a year and doesn't leave thier hotel.
The restaurant in prestatyn is (i thought) EXPENSIVE although not as so as the one in Deganwy. The meals were good but rushed us about £120 (8400 Thb) for 2ads and2 kids. drinks incl.

I thought that could have been the case.
We always eat out when in Hua Hin. It is a great experience and such a great variety of cheap high quality food.
Yes that is expensive may give it a try sometime though. There again just how many meals could you have in Hua Hin for that sort money ?? A great many!!

Exacly, a good few meals, It was rare for us to pay more than 1000Thb (£15) for a main meal with drinks for 4. It's just around here or the UK as a whole that resteraunteurs will charge what they know customers will grudgingly pay rather than cost plus a small profit. I know wages and all overheads for businesses in the uk will be more than those in Thailand but......
