Saw it in 2D, my eyes cannot handle 3D as the combination of the glasses and my own give me a headache even worse than that due to the volume in the cinema. The CGI was pretty budget so I would imagine the 3D would not improve it much.

We went to watch Thor tonight, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It must have been the largest audience I've seen in Thailand to watch a movie.

Yes, if you don't have a pair of 3D glasses, you need to buy a pair at 100 Baht.

10% full seems to be the norm for most movies in Hua Hin. In fact a couple of weeks ago, there were only 10 of us in a 300+ seat auditorium.

We went to the early showing today. Only 10 in the cinema. A good, action packed movie until the end. It must be the worst ending to a movie ever. The movie was in full flow, and then it ended. The credits were rolling, and I was trying to work out why. This made it a non-movie for me - very disappointed.

Another example how inThai they just miss the point. The advantage of the rather tasteless multi plex cinemas over the elegant art deco single movie houses is that they can show many movies at the same site, but her THEY SOMETIMES SHOW THE SAME MOVIE AT 3 OUT OF THE 4 viewing rooms.

Don't knock it. We need to take baby steps. At least my persistent letter writing has been rewarded with at least one original soundtrack movie a week. Personally, I enjoy going to the movies, but once a week is enough for me.
