Queen's Park

Post by Big Boy »

I stopped off at the newly refurbished Queen's Park earlier this afternoon. I was quite impressed at the range and general condition (at the moment) of the 'free to use' Thai fitness equipment installed - probably the best I've seen.

Unfortunately, the actual park was a little messy after the recent storm, but it shouldn't take long to rectify that.

The kiddies playground also had new equipment, and unlike the concrete surface a few years ago when we used to take the granddaughters, the play area was now sand.

Someone asked me recently about a playground for kids, I didn't think there was any. Where is the park located? I assume turn right after the palace (going North), somewhere down there?

Yes, stay on that road for a couple miles. You'll see it on the right. Plenty of parking as well.

I think I once when there for Loy Kratong, it was a good spot as you could put them in the river.
