Interesting. Sounds like a deliberate attempt to keep the English language out of the country. Or maybe I'm just having one of those bolshy days.....

Interesting. Will ASEAN have an impact on the duties ? English books from KL or Singapore ? Duty free from then on ?

I guess, as far as books are concerned, this is a good reason to get an e-reader...
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I have had english language books sent to me in Bangkok several times. For years I had a subscription periodical sent without a problem. I stand by my previous post that it has to do with where your address is.
